Telar/Tejido (Loom/Woven)

Collaboration with artist Juan Pablo de la Vega in the visual development of a data visualization created for MASSIVart México in the lobby of The Summit, Santa Fe.

This artwork is a digital weaving that compiles a variety of patterns through real-time binary evaluation of data from Mexico City and the building’s interior. Data displayed includes green space density, wind speed, humidity, precipitation, indoor and outdoor temperature, and noise levels inside the building.

The color ranges are defined according to differences between day and night and change monthly depending on certain color aspects of each season.
