Spatial Sequence

Spatial Sequence is an interactive installation created by Eduardo Jiménez for Volta Sessions.

Monodata Interactive Works was responsible for the production of Spatial Sequence, an interactive audiovisual installation that merges spatial data with musical metrics. By employing remote sensing and custom software development, the installation captures the position and movement of people within the exhibition space, converting this data into dynamic parameters that drive an artificial intelligence system dedicated to real-time music composition.

As the audience moves through the space, they trigger unique sequences that integrate into an ever-evolving collective composition.

Spatial Sequence redefines audience participation in live performances by transforming the space into a sequencer that responds to human interaction.
